[Walking the City Like an Architect]
Expand the way you experience cities through our lecture!
‘Walk the City Like an Architect’ is a lecture series co-organized by Beyond Chapter, Around Trip, and A-Platform. It's not just a collection of travel stories, but an online lecture series designed to help you experience cities from a new perspective. Over two months, from July to August, architects who have studied or worked locally in four cities—London, Hamburg, Tokyo, and San Francisco—share personal stories set in the cities they've experienced firsthand. Through these talks, you'll gain a deeper understanding of each city, its character, and the must-see spots you shouldn't miss when traveling. The series also covers the alleys and small public spaces locals love, as well as hidden art project sites, giving participants vivid insights as if they were walking the city themselves.
All lectures take place on an online platform, so you can join from anywhere, anytime, and each lecture is followed by a Q&A session to answer your questions. Participants will learn to travel not as tourists but as if living like a local, and gain the insights needed to design their own travel routes.
